I for one like the pictures, but I think they are taking over the site slowly but surely. A dedicated pictures section is needed. Avid internet browsers like a quick fix though. Good post.

So why has the quality of Digg has diminished. I think we should call it quality as we don't see a perfect picture of results a social bookmarking site must display.
